This year, the autumn equinox is on the 23rd of September. That day, the sun crosses over the equator heading to the southern hemisphere.
Equinox and solstice are naturally occurring seasonal cycles whose energies we can tune into as we deepen our spiritual consciousness.
The autumn equinox brings us balance in light. Day and night are of equal length. It is a period to find equanimity and stability.
Autumn is also a time for harvest the summer fruits. It’s a time to be grateful for the seeds you sowed. It is a good period to enjoy the fruits of any project, ideas or goals you have been working on.
How many times have you heard the saying “Once in a Blue Moon”? Well, it is more than an expression and believe it or not Blue Moon is here.

This summer we have been able to enjoy a bath of three super full-moon-light. Saturday 12 July 2014 was the first of three ginormous full moons. The moon varies in size because its orbit.
